To celebrate Bird Watch Week the children enjoyed spotting and recording the birds that visited our outdoor play area thoughout the week.

To make sure we attracted as many winged visitors as possible they made bird feeders and hung them round the play area a couple of weeks before the event.

During the week itself our eagle eyed junior twitchers spotted a Robin, a Blackbird, a House Sparrow and a Pigeon. Everyone's favourite was the cute little Robin!

When it was all over we collected the results and sent them to the RSPB to include in their Bird Watch Week survey.

You can check out the results from the RSPB website here: RSPB Bird Watching Week Results
